Vertex was selected by the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) as the prime contractor and integrator for Pilot Training Transformation (PTT), scaling XR flight training across U.S. Air Force undergraduate pilot training. Vertex developed, integrated, and supported the software, hardware, cockpit simulation, instructor tools, and network infrastructure that power the PTT training ecosystem.
