Vertex Solutions, a leading developer of cutting-edge training solutions, proudly announces its successful participation at the annual South by Southwest (SXSW) conference in Austin, Texas. Renowned for spotlighting the latest in technology and innovation within the defense industry, SXSW served as an essential platform for Vertex Solutions to collaborate with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and other innovation cells from the Department of Defense and the commercial technology sector.

A conference highlight was the inauguration of a new joint innovation space at the Capital Factory, designed to foster connections and support DIU’s mission of rapidly delivering capabilities with strategic impact. Vertex Solutions was at the forefront, showcasing our F-16 Mixed Reality Reconfigurable Fighter Trainer in this new joint innovation space and engaging with other innovation-focused entities to explore synergies and collaborative opportunities.

Vertex Solutions' President and COO, Dennis Wikoff, had the honor of participating in a panel alongside representatives from DIU, DET 24, and Metrea to discuss “Transforming Pilot Training”. The event also featured meaningful exchanges with Ukrainian soldiers about lessons learned from the front lines and other discussions critical to national security. These conversations have further solidified Vertex Solutions' commitment to advancing defense innovation.

At the culmination of our visit to the Capital Factory, we were invited to partake in Army Future Command’s “Our House” at 800 Congress, where they showcased a plethora of innovative technologies transforming our nation's military. Our F-16 Mixed Reality Reconfigurable Fighter Trainer stole the show, providing an unforgettable immersive experience. We relished the opportunity to open minds to how, together with our military and commercial partners, we are revolutionizing pilot training.
