Levels 1 & 2 IMI

Not every training intervention demands a highly complex simulation. And while Level 1 IMI is marked by learners' passive reception of content and Level 2 includes only limited learner participation, we reject the notion that these courses must be dull. Vertex has the experienced staff, refined processes, and professional equipment needed to create custom, high-quality video products for our IMI. In 2018, our Blended Retirement System course (pictured here), which included custom video vignettes, earned First Prize for Social Media from the National Association of Government Communicators. This project also received a written commendation from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense.

HTML5 Courseware Shell

Quickly Create Custom IMI

Vertex’s HTML5 courseware shell allows for the rapid creation of SCORM-conformant and Section 508-compliant IMI that is compatible with any desktop or mobile device. We developed and maintain an HTML/JavaScript courseware shell, including page and interactivity templates, that controls navigation, powers a menu system, and handles all LMS/SCORM communication. The shell is visually customizable, cross-browser compatible, and is completely customizable to implement Section 508-compliant features. IMI produced with our shell can be standalone or integrated with any LMS. Our HTML5 shell has been successfully deployed on the SuccessFactors, Saba, SumTotal, Moodle, and AtlasPro LMSs.
