Our mobile apps are used by numerous Government clients, including U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), the Army Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), TRADOC Capability Manager–Mobile (TCM-Mobile), Army Special Forces SERE, Quarter Master School, and the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO). 3D Visualization & Training
Vertex’s 3D Visualizer Environment allows users to interact with 3D objects to understand their composition and how they function. Our 3D Weapons App, built on this environment, allows users to view weapons firing and walks them through the step-by-step processes of the cycle of operations, performing a function check, and weapon assembly and disassembly. Vertex has expanded these features to support high levels of interactivity through simulation for both vehicle and weapon task training, including Practical Exercises (PEs).
Custom Apps
Vertex also builds custom mobile apps for our customers based on their unique needs. For TCM-Mobile, for example, we developed multi-platform 3D Widget application code to allow 3D models to be displayed inside any Web browser. At the request of TCM-Mobile, we also built a Government-owned mobile QR scanner tool for cyber-safe applications. The scanner allows pictures, video, and other data to be scanned into a mobile device from an identified location.
