Vertex Solutions teams up with Ryan Aerospace for the second consecutive year exhibiting together at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference (I/ITSEC).  At booth #839, we will be showcasing our spectrum of immersive training devices, systems integration approach, and courseware development solutions.

Here's a look into what you can expect at our booth: 

New eVTOL Immersive Training Device (ITD) 

In partnership with a leading eVTOL company the Vertex team has developed a mixed reality eVTOL flight simulator equipped with production-line avionics.  Intended for use as their primary training simulator, Vertex is collaborating with our partners and the FAA for certification of the simulator.

New T-38 Immersive Training Device (ITD) Design

Part of the Virtual Training for Air Dominance/Fighter Bomber Fundamentals (VTRAD/FBF) contract, our third consecutive DIU advanced pilot training program contract win, where we were selected to provide reconfigurable mixed reality T-38C training devices to the USAF.  In partnership with Ryan Aerospace, we will be showing our new ITD design that will be delivered to the USAF.

Courseware development demonstrations

Vertex Solutions has been creating award winning courseware for almost three decades.  With roots in courseware development, our trusted and proven team designs courseware with the end in mind, creating the right blend of media and interactivity to suit the content, audience, learning objectives, and targeted software and end-user devices.

Vertex Solutions' first Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) contract win is where we excelled as the Prime systems integrator for the Pilot Training Transformation (PTT) contract.  Through this contract we have collaborated with companies like Google, CAE, Discovery Machine, iPerformX, and where lasting partnerships were formed with companies like Ryan Aerospace and Varjo.  We have since grown the concept of PTT to the U.S. Navy, Colombia, and Republic Airways' LIFT Academy.  Vertex has recently successfully installed 25 T-6B ITDs at NAS Corpus Christi, TX and is installing the first of 25 T-6B ITDs at NAS Whiting Field, FL with more to follow at other NAS locations.  Our team currently provides onsite support to five USAF locations and two US Naval Air Stations.  Watch this short video to learn more about PTT.

Reconfigurable Multi-Crew Mixed Reality (MR) Flight Simulator

A multicrew trainer equipped with interactive cockpit, video pass through, NVG training capability, and 6DOF motion.  Vertex Solutions' second consecutive DIU advanced pilot training program contract win.  This collaboration integrated hardware from Ryan Aerospace, Bugeye Technologies, Varjo, and other COTS solutions to create a best in class multi-crew XR training solution.  Vertex is currently nearing completion of the installation of five of these systems in Fort Novosel, AL.  Watch this short video to see this impressive flight simulator in action.
