Vertex Solutions and Ryan Aerospace to Showcase Immersive Training Solutions at ITEC 2026 in London

NICEVILLE, FL, March 24, 2026 – Vertex Solutions (United States) and RYAN AEROSPACE (Australia) will once again exhibit together at the International Training Technology Exhibition and Conference (ITEC) 2026 in London from 14-16 April.

The two companies have collaborated for more than six years to pioneer scalable virtual and mixed reality (VR/MR) flight training systems for leading military organisations around the world. Their partnership combines RYAN AEROSPACE’S advanced simulator hardware with Vertex Solutions’ immersive training software, digital twin development, and systems integration expertise to deliver flexible, cost-effective training solutions for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Together, the companies focus on delivering scalable training systems aligned to real-world mission requirements and evolving customer needs.

At this year’s event, RYAN AEROSPACE will showcase its AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter MR mission training device, highlighting the capabilities of compact immersive training systems to support mission rehearsal, procedures training, and tactical skill development. The system demonstrates how modern extended reality (XR) technologies can deliver high-fidelity training in a small footprint while enabling flexible deployment across a variety of training environments.

In addition to the Apache device on display, the companies will discuss the continued evolution of their Generation 2 Immersive Training Device (ITD) architecture, which builds upon hundreds of earlier-generation systems fielded with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, partner nations, and other global customers. The Gen 2 design introduces enhanced modularity and reconfigurability, allowing training devices to be rapidly adapted across aircraft types while maintaining accurate seating position, control geometry, and pilot eye-point. This enables organizations to modernize training incrementally without requiring full system replacement.

Our modular architecture supports multiple aircraft configurations, including platforms such as the T-38 and F-16, using a common hardware and software foundation. It also enables both VR and MR training environments, giving organizations the flexibility to tailor training solutions to their operational requirements. This approach allows training systems to evolve alongside mission needs while reducing lifecycle cost and improving long-term usability.

CEO Chris Ryan commented:

“Our collaboration with Vertex Solutions continues to expand what is possible in immersive flight training. By combining advanced simulator hardware with scalable software and digital twin technologies, we are helping military organisations introduce highly capable training systems more quickly and affordably than traditional approaches.”

"At Vertex, we deliver modern training solutions that improve readiness, increase capacity, and adapt as requirements evolve. We work with global customers and partners to bring together the right mix of technology and expertise to support real-world training needs,” said Sandra Reiter, Principal Owner, Chairwoman, and CEO of Vertex Solutions. “Our partnership with RYAN AEROSPACE reflects a shared commitment to advancing immersive training capabilities, helping defense and aviation organizations scale while maintaining the fidelity and realism required to prepare pilots and crew members for complex missions.”

Vertex Solutions and RYAN AEROSPACE will be available to discuss their immersive training solutions at ITEC 2026 at booth #L40.
